Interested in this, I decided to look at other vampires and realized that ], the two-mana pseudo-lord also had an ETB ability for fable.įortunately, Fable, Adversary, and Socialite are all maximized by having cheap interaction (to get treasures, spells in the yard, and damage for lord-effect), which made it easy to justify the 11 removal spells this deck plays. The core gameplan of the deck was born when I noticed that many powerful creatures for Fable to copy are vampires. You will enjoy the deck if you like tribal decks, complicated combat, and adding to the board while interacting with the opponent. I have been playing a version of this deck for around 5 months now, with the deck being quite resilient to change, which may make it a decent choice to commit to for a time in paper or arena.

This deck is an interactive midrange deck (surprising for standard, I know) that aims to utilize some vampire synergies and the fact that some of the best vampires are excellent with the best card in standard, ] to play a game that can grind with the best of them, or kill your opponent on turn 5 through blockers.
